chocolate chip brands get #nimatested: chocolate chips

Whether you’re just grabbing a handful for a snack or using them to make some home-baked goodies, chocolate chips are a delicious dessert staple. We were curious to see if three of the biggest chocolate brands would get a smile from the Nima Peanut Sensor (coming very soon).

Please note:

1. These items were #nimatested for peanuts, not gluten.

2. As with our gluten sensor, Nima is not a guarantee the whole dish is uniformly peanut-free. Always use your best judgement before testing or consuming a food tested with Nima. Every manufacturing lot is different so we encourage you to test often with your Nima Peanut Sensor.

3. This post includes 3 different Nima tests per chocolate chip brand. The goal was to more thoroughly test each bag of chocolate chips.

Testing tip: In order to make the most use out of each test capsule, try testing pieces from multiple chocolate chips in the bag. You can use a knife to cut a small sample from the chocolate chips and then put them all into one capsule. However make sure you don’t overfill the capsule!
